Welcome to Inky and Stampy! The place for Kiwi cardmakers!

I am Chick, and I live in Wellington, New Zealand, with my children and pets.

The aim of this website is to share information about card making for all cardmakers, including how-to’s, tools and products that are useful, plus great places to shop both in New Zealand and internationally, and various other online resources.

You can often find me with the Scrapbook Central team at various papercraft shows, come and do a make & take with me sometime!

I also teach classes regularly at Scrapbook Central in Lower Hutt – beginners are welcome!

I teach techniques using Distress Oxide inks, die cutting, heat embossing and using various tools and products. I always say ‘if I don’t send you home either inky or glittery, I am not doing my job right!’, so come and have some fun with me!

MY CARD KITS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!

This is my new little venture with Scrapbook Central – kits for those who cannot make to a class with me in person. Everything you need is included in the kit, and you will generally just need your own tools, inks, adhesive and any other colouring medium or embellishments you may have in your craft room. NOTE: Where I can, I try to offer my classes as kits after the event. But now I am also adding specialty kits that are not taught in person. As always, you are welcome to get in touch if you have any questions whilst creating!

I am a supporter of artists and designers, and companies who pay living wages. Genuine stamp companies work hard to get their gorgeous product lines out to us – they pay artists, designers and license fees for their images. They are often generous with sponsorships, giveaways and supporting charities. They can tell when you use counterfeit product, and honestly, so can we. These companies are small, often just 1-2 people at a kitchen table/garage. Please choose to avoid counterfeit products and stolen intellectual property, and purchase quality product instead – put your money where it deserves to be!
