Chipboard Birds on a Wire

Products Used:

  • Celebr8 chipboard birds
  • Celebr8 leaves stencil
  • Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste
  • MFT Stitched Rectangle die set
  • Memory Box Small Hello
  • Inks: Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage and Squeezed Lemonade
  • Copic Markers

Ink up a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card front panel with distress oxides or your choice of dye inks.

Using the stencil, spread the Glimmer Paste over the entire panel. Also, spread Glimmer Paste over a plain white card front panel of the same size – this helps later in having the stencil pattern match later.

Cut down both panels using a Stitched Rectangle die – try to get the inky panel as centrally as possible. Adhere the the central panel with foam tape. .

I coloured the birds using copic markers – you could use any medium you choose for this. I tried to use a couple of colours to give my birds dimension.

I cut the small hello die three times – save the actual letters for another project! I liked the look of the outline leftovers for this card.
