I am a happy enabler! Below are some of my favourite places to shop in New Zealand. The shops listed here stock top quality stamps and dies, cardstocks and inks. Most offer online shopping, classes and the ability to order specific products in – it always pays to ask!

Scrapbook Central is owned by Philippa Beveridge (and husband Jonathan) and it is my “local”. They specialise in paper crafting products and carry Tim Holtz stamps, tools and Distress Inks/Oxides, Memory Box dies, Nuvo embellishment products and Graphic 45 papers. They also stock Copic Ciaos and offer a refill service for your markers onsite. Keep an eye on their calendar of upcoming classes and crop nights – super popular!

I’ve had the fun of purchasing directly from Craftables at their booth at SENZ. A great range of card making and scrapbooking supplies, tools, adhesives and kits.
Two notable things about Craftables – they have a brilliant range of Kiwiana dies! Word dies such as Kia Ora, whanau, mana and aloha. Other NZ elements such as the NZ map, silver fern and a cute kiwi.
Plus, they have a neat little electronic kit and extra accessories to create ‘light up’ cards. Included in these kits are little LED bulbs, copper tape and even a couple of batteries along with full instructions. At just $15.95, these are a very fun addition to the craft stash.

SENZ (Scrapbooking Expo New Zealand) is a papercraft show where shops and exhibitors gather under one roof for an amazing day/weekend of shopping and crafting experiences. There are classes, demonstrations, make & takes, opportunities to try things out and discover new products and companies. The Auckland event is usually held mid-late July. 2020 will feature the first South Island show in April! Subscribe to their newsletter below to keep up to date.

The ultimate Art store! There are stores located in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. Along with books, canvases, paints and specialty artist materials, they stock a full range of Copic alcohol markers (sketch, ciao and refills), Tombow watercolour pens, Faber Castell Prisma coloured pencils and Polychromos pencils. I also like to purchase their Fabriano Bristol smooth cardstock – perfect for watercolour pens, die cutting and card making. Courier costs for online shopping start at $4.
