Products Used:
- MFT Floral background stamp – any stamp background will work for this
- MFT Stitched Rectangle die set
- Memory Box Birthday circle
- Nuvo Shimmer powders in pink, purple and green
- Shimmery Vellum

White heat emboss the background stamp onto white cardstock.
Drop a bit of the shimmer powder on your craft mat or paint palette, and add water next to it. Using a wide, flat paintbrush, pick up colour and dab it onto the embossed background – trying to keep colour vaguely within lines, but not being particular about it – a messy look is wanted,
Let this dry.
Cut down your background piece with a stitched rectangle die and cut another in a contrasting colour to mat behind.
I cut the Birthday circle die three times from black cardstock and stacked them together. I die cut a slightly larger circle from shimmery vellum – adhere this to the back of the birthday circle with tape runner. I dug through my stash to find a ‘happy’ stamp that fit (in this case, it is from Lawn Fawn). I also added a wee heart embellishment by cutting three little hearts to stack together, and coloured them with copic marker to match my background.
