This is one of those projects where I tried to use up some scrappy leftovers from previous projects. I had coloured cardstock pieces with various colours of Nuvo shimmer powders.
I die cut these pieces with the Fab Foliage die set – this cuts out five different little leafy branches, so it’s pretty quick to get a bunch of different coloured pieces.
I arranged the leaves, starting in the centre of the card front panel, and once I was happy, I glued them down. Using scissors, I trimmed off the excess ends – some of those can be used to fill spaces on the edges too.
I cut the Birthday Wishes die three times out of black cardstock and glued them together. I like doing this because you end up with a really nice dimensional sentiment on. the front. I used tape runner on the back of this to adhere it to a vellum circle and placed this towards the top centre of the card panel.
