I cut my various poppy pieces and used Nuvo Shimmer powders to paint them – simply drop some powder on your craft mat and add a little water right next to it. Using a paintbrush, pick up a little colour and water. I started with the lightest colour on the outer edges of the flowers and added more darker colour going into the centre.
Repeat the process with the darker colour and flick the colour out for some definition.
Paint the leaf stems in green – I used Falling Leaves.
I used an embossing folder for the central background panel, which is the same colour as the main card front panel. I lifted this central panel with some foam tape.
Cut the Hello from white cardstock twice, and a metallic cardstock for the top layer and glue these together.
Add a sentiment strip of your choice.
