Rainbow Unicorn

Products Used:

  • Memory Box Rainbow Arch and Whittle Unicorn
  • Cloud Stencil
  • Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Border (Memory Box has a version too)
  • Sentiment of your choice
  • Shimmery vellum
  • Copic markers in grey
  • Metallic cardstock for the unicorn horn, tail and mane

Cut the rainbow die with various colours of cardstock – I used a range of Bazzill.

I also cut a few sets out of white and was able to stack alternate arches for a bit of fun dimension.

Cut a couple of cloud borders with white cardstock and shimmery vellum, adhere the vellum behind the white with a tape runner or double sided tape (liquid glue tends to warp vellum). Stamp your sentiment on it.

I cut the Whittle Unicorn a couple of times from white, plus one with metallic mirror cardstock. I glued one white layer behind the metallic. The top white layer is coloured with copics – C5, C3, C1 and C0. I cut the tail off this top layer so when it is glued on top, the silver tail shows. I coloured the nose with R20 and R00. Glue him to the rainbow.

Because the rainbow is lifted with layers of cardstock, use foam tape to lift the bottom cloud border up to the same level.

Add a little confetti or sequins scattered about the card for a finishing touch.
